This post started off as a “Day 5” post, but it is now 2022 and this trip was almost 6 years ago. I don’t even remember how many days we had there that August. So much is different now. I’m different, the world is different. Mauri started a church in France. Nicole got really sick in 2017 for almost a year. Heidy, beautiful, amazing Heidy got cancer and the Lord took her home. Typing that out still makes me cry. This trip still means so much to me. That last night on the beach…I’ll remember it for as long as I live.
I haven’t dug around to find my photos from the rest of this trip, so here is a video I made which will sum up my trip to El Salvador in 2016. Gotta finish this up so I can get ready to share about Uganda 2022! Woo hoo!
